RAoK

Thank you all for your words of support. I know I buried the lead, but let's put it this way...I'm slightly skittish and prone to anxiety about it all. Burying it still felt like I used trumpets, clowns, confetti, men on stilts and Shriners to talk about egg meeting sperm. It might be the last I mention of it, so just know that if something happens, like happens happens, I will tell you, but otherwise, all is good. I probably will talk about my ginormous uterus at some point.

AND NOW, for the real clowns and puppy dog moment, the beautiful and kind Tina, maker of gorgeous jewelry honoring our little ones, from Living without Sophia and Ellie, is doing her own Random Act of Kindness today involving the people who did a Random Act of Kindness the other day. Isn't that cool?

Go check out her blog to hear more about it. Being good has its up sides, you know, besides the warm fuzzies and beautiful ray of sunshine that follows you around for a few days.

  2. Thank you for igniting the warm fuzzies with RAoK the other week. I was feeling fairly bleak. It's nice to think beyond the sadness.

  4. Finally figured out something to do for a RAoK. It was delayed though... Your post really has inspired me to want to do more for people. It really does as much for the giver as the givee.

Anyways, I anonymously sent some cookies to a friend who is going through a difficult time.

  5. ok, i finally did it today. its been weighing on me, which is not the purpose, i know, but it just was.

i was in tj maxx, doing my usual shopping/browsing therapy and it hit me. i bought 5 of those really cute tj maxx shopping bags and gave them to the cashier and asked her to use them for the next 5 customers instead of the plastic.

the cashiers were so cute about it! they were like, wow, that is so nice, i wish everyone did things like this. it felt great to be a part of something like this. thank you for putting it out there.

i walked out of there smiling which was not how i was when i went in.

  6. I can't wait to tell you about my Raok. I'll get back to you when I do it. I'll be in another (much larger) city this weekend so that may be the perfect setting for me to do it. I'm pretty anxious myself....
